Pencil skirts are slowly becoming a staple in my everyday wardrobe. I used to think they were just for the women who had office jobs, but am slowly seeing that they are much more than that! I purchased this one from Aritzia in the summer, and (basically) haven't taken it off since. I wear it on lazy days, fancy days, and every day in between. Here are 5 of my favorite ways I like to wear this pencil skirt:
1. Comfy Cool
I should've saved my favourite one for last, but I couldn't resist! There is something about an oversized turtleneck that I absolutely adore. This outfit is super simple and quick to put together, which is exactly why I love it so much. It is effortless, but still makes you feel put together.
Details:
- Sweater: Montpellier Sweater, Aritzia
- Skirt: Lis Skirt, Aritzia
- Shoes: Adidas Superstar
2. City Chic
This is an outfit that I love wearing on a night out. I have been loving a sleek low bun lately, and feel that it pairs very well with this put together number!

- Tank: Orwell Tank, Aritzia
- Necklace: Forever 21
- Shoes: Spring
- Bracelets: Pandora
- Earrings: Spring
3. Casual Glam
Although I would say my personal style leans a lot more casual, I love to incorporate more glam pieces to bridge the gap between casual and formal. This outfit is a good example of that!

- Denim Top: Free People
- Tank: H&M
- Shoes: Marc Fisher
- Necklace: Forever 21
- Bracelets: Pandora
4. Relaxed
This outfit features one of my all time favourite purchases -- my long grey cardigan cape! It is so easy to wear, and it gives this outfit a notable relaxed vibe.

- Top: Vero Moda
- Shoes: Nike Air Max Thea Joli, The Bay
- Necklace: H&M
5. Cute & Girly
I recently stopped by Cade Style Lounge in Regina for the first time, and I fell in LOVE with this ultrasoft blanket cape. It is the most beautifully decorated store with unique clothing and accessories. I couldn't help but feature a few of my purchases in this outfit -- this one might be tied for my favorite along with the first outfit.
Details:
- Cape: Cade Style Lounge
- Top: Aritzia
- Necklace: Cade Style Lounge
- Boots: Sam Edelman
I hope you enjoyed today's fashion post, as there will sure to be more like this in the future. Have a great weekend!
