Hello, everyone!
I'm back with a new post, and possibly a new series, where I talk about my five favorite products in any given category. I got the inspiration from many YouTubers talking about their all time favourite, holy grail, beauty products.
Because I am the most indecisive person in the world, I thought that I could talk about five of my favourite products in each category instead of just one! Do you know how it would be for me to pick ONE favorite blush? Exactly, not gonna happen.
To start off the series, here we are with my top five favorite blushes of all time.
1) MAC MINERALIZE BLUSH, WARM SOUL ($33)
If you've ever wondered what my most worn blush in my collection is, it's this one right here. I love it because it blends seamlessly, making it extremely easy to put on if you're in a rush. It is a very buildable formula, meaning you can keep it sheer if you aren't wanting much colour on the cheeks, or you can build up the colour to make a more bold look. It has a slight shimmer, but nothing that is overly noticeable when applied to the face. It is a warm light brown shade, making it virtually impossible to clash with any makeup look.
2) TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY BLUSH, EXPOSED ($35)
This amazonian clay line by Tarte prides itself on its 12-hour wear time. I don't normally have my daily makeup on for much longer than 8 or 9 hours, so I can't attest to the 12 hour claim. BUT, this blush stays on perfectly for the amount of time I wear it, which is something I can definitely appreciate. If you are someone who has long days, and don't want to worry about your makeup fading, this line is absolutely for you. I particularly love this shade because it is a very natural dusty pink. However, if you don't love this shade, there are MANY others in this line to choose from. The formula is absolutely worth investing in.
3) NARS BLUSH, MADLY ($38)
NARS is definitely a frontrunner when it comes to well-formulated blushes. This shade is exceptionally smooth, making the blending process a breeze. This blush is a very light brown / peach colour -- another amazing everyday shade. While making this post, I actually realized how similar Warm Soul and Madly were! If I were to try and differentiate the two, I would say Madly is a tad lighter and more brown, and less shimmery. I love this shade SO much in the summer, and can see myself reaching for it tons in the upcoming Winter months as well.
4) MAC POWDER BLUSH, PEACHES ($27)
This MAC blush is a stunning warm peach colour, hence the name of course. It looks a little scary when looking at it in the pan, at least that's what I thought when I first saw it. When applied to the skin, it actually looks very natural and adds a beautiful brightening effect to the cheeks. I love wearing this blush when I have a very neutral matte eye and a bold lash -- it just adds the perfect touch to complete the look!
5) MAC POWDER BLUSH, PINCH ME ($27)
This is my favourite "going out" blush! When I'm wanting a little extra something for my makeup look, I usually like to add a little more colour to the cheeks. That is where this blush comes in! It is highly pigmented, so going in with a really light hand usually works best for me. A fun fact about this blush is that it is actually my first ever MAC product, so it most definitely holds a special place in my heart. The excitement I had when I opened this up on Christmas Day was REAL. Although this blush holds sentimental value, I truly love it for how well the formula performs and how the colour looks on the skin.

6) HOURGLASS AMBIENT LIGHTING BLUSH, LUMINOUS FLUSH ($45)
...I told you I'm indecisive! So here we are with a sixth blush, Luminous Flush! I had to talk about this one because of its beautiful, and very unique formula. This blush is incredibly smooth; truly a dream to blend out. It has the slightest sheen to it, which gives the skin the most perfect natural glow. Another bonus about this one is the luxurious packaging -- Hourglass sure knows what they're doing in that department! This blush is more on the expensive sign, but truly worth the investment if you are wanting a blush with beautiful colour and sheen.
SWATCHES
I hope you all enjoyed this post, as I really enjoyed making it. You can definitely expect to see more in this series! Let me know what YOUR favourite blushes of all time are in the comments!
